The Modern Ninja Network

How we operate in the world bears scrutiny.

When we are younger, we learned how to do things like walk and talk. During this time we didn't have any control over who was influencing us, but we were still paying attention. 

As a result, we picked up more than we may have chosen, had we been able to make that choice. 

We can see this in socal groups where the victim mindset is strong.

In the Bujinkan system and in ours, personal power is what is venerated. Things like responsibility and the idea of facing challenges head-on align well with personal power thinking.

That being said, we are all human and a basic human need is to have a support group. In Ninjutsu, that is called our Ninja Network. People who we can count on for strength and stability when the world shakes us up. The modern translation is the dojo. Not a place, but a group of good people who are there for us when we get down.
